Workers' Compensation Focus

Over five years of practice, Kerri has developed a particular focus in workers' compensation law. She represents workers, employers, and unions at WorkSafeBC, the Review Division, and the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal (WCAT).

Her work includes extensive reviews of current and historical claims. Her experience includes permanent disability benefits, vocational rehabilitation, psychological and physical injuries, occupational disease, return-to-work issues, reconsiderations, reopenings, and survivor and dependency claims. She has handled complex extension-of-time applications involving legal or policy errors identified through detailed file reviews. She can facilitate referrals and access a network of medical professionals for independent expert opinions when appropriate. Her work has also included pursuing post-mortem acceptance of claims in support of survivor benefits. Learn more about Kerri’s workers’ compensation practice.
